Vipul Prajapati

Born in Ahmedabad, Vipul Prajapati (b. 1984) completed his Diploma in Painting from Sheth C. N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad in 2006. He is a recipient of several prestigious accolades such as a grant of $10000 from ‘The Pollock-Krasner Foundation’, New York in 2016, ‘57th National Award’ in Best Drawing / Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi 2016, ‘Award in Drawing’ / AIFACS New Delhi 2014 to name a few. Ever since he has passed out from the fine art college Prajapati has done a couple of solo shows across the country; such as ‘Landscapes, People and Coherence’ Gallery Le Sutra, Mumbai 2012, ‘Veraval Express’ Mantra Art Gallery, Ahmedabad 2012. Prajapati has been actively participating in several group shows and has attended many art fairs & art camps both in India and abroad, and has been awarded twice by the ‘Gujarat State Lalit Kala Akademi’ for Painting.
