Harshil Patel

Harshil Patel (b. 1982) studied Diploma in Drawing and Painting from Sheth C. N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad; Art language course and Post Graduate in Fine Arts, both from the University of Arts, London. Since 1999, he has held several group and solo shows. In 1999, he had participated in 3rd Egypt International Print Triennale, followed by International Print Triennale Kanawa, Japan in 2000, the 3rd Tokyo International Miniprint Triennale, Japan in 2001. In 2003 he also participated in the ‘111 Annual Art Exhibition’ by the Bombay Art Society. He has received several awards over the course of time. In 2000, he was awarded by Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy. He was also awarded by the Art Society of India, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and by Lok Manya Tilak 17 All India Art Exhibition, all in year 2004.

He lives and works in Ahmedabad.
