Jigna Gaudana

Born in 1981, Ahmedabad, and having interests in areas as diverse as art and culture, economics, fine art and aesthetics, and art history, she has taken up various courses in Economics; Art history & Aesthetics; Manuscriptology. She also studied Diploma in Drawing and Painting from Sheth C. N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad in 2005 and Masters in Indian Culture from Gujarat University in 2015. In 2013 her works were exhibited in the ‘Grand Printmaking Show’ at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai. Further, she has participated in many group shows in major cities like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune. She has worked under the famous printmaking artist, Jyoti Bhatt in 2009. She has also been awarded the Junior Research Fellowship from the Ministry of Culture in 2012.

She lives and works in Ahmedabad.
