This limited edition serigraph is part of a series titled ‘The Ahmedabad Serigraphs’ which consist of 33 serigraphs done by 33 different artists each serigraph is a window to the city, as seen from the eyes of the artist, each of who has presented a central idea of Ahmedabad as testimony of their feeling for the city.

Hailing from Ahmedabad, she has maintained close ties with this city, and connects to it on a personal level, and considers a huge part of her identity. Here, the little girl is Jigna herself and her shadow falling on the “heart” on the wall, it is also the root for the tree growing on the wall, it has impressions of the Sidi Saiyyed carvings, which is a classic example to depict Ahmedabad. On the left wall, is a picture of her father, whom she remembers, and considers a big part of her identity, and holds a special place in her heart. All this encompassed inside the dimensions of a room depicts her favourite corner of her home.
