Milan Desai

Milan Desai (b. 1964) studied Diploma in Drawing and Painting from Sheth C. N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad. He has participated in several group shows and solo shows. In 1988, he had participated in a show held by the Bombay Art Society. He has also participated in the 3rd Egyptian International Print Triennale in 1999. He has held shows abroad as well, namely at Taiwan, Egypt and has his works in several collections abroad, namely at Sri lanka, New York. He has received several awards over the course of time. Few of them are, Avantika Group of Arts in 1995, award by Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy in Graphics in 1997-98, by the Bombay Art Society in 2005, by Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy in Sculpture in 2010 and by All Indian Competition, NDMC, New Delhi in 2014.

He lives and works in Ahmedabad.
