Roma Patel

Born in 1986 in a small town of Kadi, Gujarat. She studied Diploma in Drawing and Painting from Sheth C. N. College of Fine Arts, Ahmedabad. Since 2003, she has held several solo shows, such as, ‘Floating Forms’ at the ICAC Gallery, Mumbai in 2012. In 2013, she participated in ‘All India Printmaking Show’ at Jehangir Art Gallery, Mumbai; and in 2014 her works were exhibited as a part of ‘Five Fingers’, a group show of five artists also at Jehangir Art Gallery. Further, she has participated in many group shows in major cities like Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Mumbai. In 2012, she received Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy award for Graphics and Gujarat State Lalit Kala Academy award for Painting in 2014. She also received an award in the National Level Competition with the Kanoria Centre for Arts.

She lives and works in Ahmedabad.
