This artwork shows the façade of the Pol housing on Gandhi Road of Ahmedabad, in very bold lines and a sketchy format. Further describing the housing format, he tells how the shops on the ground floor are run by families residing on floors stacked above that shop, and how all the balconies are facing towards that street to watch people pass by. The bird feeder (chabootra) is considered an iconic structure and symbolizes the culture of the closely knitted community of the Pol housing. People gather in the evening around it and chat.
